FROM WOMEX TO KLANGKOSMOS
We are delighted that Toasaves, the Belgian collective acclaimed for their boundary-defying interpretation of Flemish folk songs, has been selected to perform a showcase in WOMEX Tampere ! Their debut album, Zwerver, was notably awarded “Best Album” at Flanders Folk Awards 2024.
The ensemble is ready to bring their unique sound to international audiences. This fall, Toasaves will take Zwerver on tour, first performing in WOMEX and then bringing their unique cross-cultural dialogue to audiences across Germany with a Klangkosmos tour. Each concert is an invitation to travel through time, borders, and into the heart of shared musical memory.
